Introduction
Welcome to the Bold Rewards Program, where you can earn rewards in bitcoin! These rewards will be credited to your rewards account, and you may withdraw them to your Bitcoin Account from time to time, subject to certain restrictions.
By participating in the Bold Rewards Program, you agree to the following:
Earning Rewards
You can earn Bitcoin rewards through Qualifying Events, which include:
- Buying and selling bitcoin: You may earn rewards by buying or selling bitcoin using Bold. The amount of rewards you earn when buying or selling bitcoin will depend on several factors, and the estimated rewards amount, if any, will be displayed to you before entering into a purchase or sale transaction.
- Spending on your Bold Visa Virtual Debit Card: You may earn rewards by signing up for, spending with, or taking other actions with your Bold Visa Virtual Debit Card.
- Using your Bold account: You may earn rewards by using your Bold account for certain things such as setting up recurring bitcoin purchases, transferring bitcoin from your Bitcoin Account to your Vault, and setting up direct deposit to your Cash Account.
- Referring friends and family: If you invite friends and family to sign up for Bold using your referral link, which you can find in your Bold account, and they sign up and make a purchase of $100 or more in bitcoin in the first 90 days, you may also earn rewards.
- Special offers: From time to time Bold may offer one-time, special Qualifying Events where you may earn additional awards. The details of these Qualifying Events will be described at that time.
Rewards Account
- To create your Rewards Account, you must have a Bold account and provide a verifiable email address and password.
- Each person is limited to one Rewards Account.
- Your Rewards Account is not a financial account and is not FDIC insured. It simply tracks your rewards and facilitates your participation in the program.
Receiving Rewards
- Rewards are calculated based on the date of the Qualifying Event.
- Rewards are subject to adjustment in the event of chargebacks, returns, refunds, or other issues.
- Rewards earned via a Qualifying Event related to your Bold Visa Virtual Debit Card are deemed pending for 90 days and cannot be redeemed until after the pending period.
- All rewards earned via a Qualifying Event that is not related to the Bold Visa Virtual Debit Card are deemed pending for 30 days and cannot be redeemed until after the pending period.
- Rewards are not guaranteed and can be changed or discontinued by Bold at any time.
Redeeming Rewards
- To redeem your rewards, you must have a valid and active Bold account.
- Rewards may only be redeemed in bitcoin.
- At its sole discretion, Bold may enforce a minimum number of sats in your Reward Account for you to be eligible to redeem your rewards.
- Redemptions are typically processed immediately, although they may be processed weekly.
- Rewards may only be redeemed to your Bold Wallet bitcoin account.
Reward Exclusions and Limitations
- Rewards may not be purchased.
- Rewards granted by Bold exclude taxes, fees, discounts, credits, returns, cancellations, and chargebacks.
- Your Rewards Account may not have a value exceeding $10,000 on any day.
- You may not transfer rewards to other users.
Taxes
- You may be taxed on your receipt of rewards depending on your tax jurisdiction.
- You are solely responsible for any tax liability arising from the program.
Bonuses and Other Rewards
- Bold may offer bonuses or rewards for referring new users or for other specific actions.
- Terms and conditions for these offers will be provided separately.
